Our School Welcome to the St Kevin’s Primary School Religious Education Website. As a member of Brisbane Catholic Education we value high quality, inclusive Catholic schooling. Our school caters for students from Preparatory through to Year 6. We have two streams from Preparatory to Year 5 and one stream in Year 6. The school offers a comprehensive and quality curriculum. St Kevin’s also provides excellent pastoral care within a Catholic environment, linking closely with the parish and local community.
Our school focuses on assisting students to reach their full academic potential, develop Christian faith and acquire social confidence and responsibility. In our school, families become part of a community which seeks positive Christian values for their children. It is a place where lasting friendships are established.
Our Staff Kevin’s is a parish school with staff employed by the Brisbane Catholic Education office through the principal as its representative. The school is fortunate to have a dedicated staff willing to provide the best possible opportunities for the children in their care. Each year, the principal in consultation with the parish, school and Brisbane Catholic Education reviews the staffing needs of the school in relation to enrolments and curriculum needs. In 2018 we have a part-time music specialist, physical education specialist and Languages Other Than English (Japanese) specialist. Music and Physical Education is offered from Prep to Year 6 and Japanese to all classes from Years 1 to 6.
All teachers at St Kevin's School are accredited to Teach in a Catholic School while all classroom teachers are also accredited to teach Religion in a Catholic School.
